70 Days of Sweat
I’ve got 21 items on my writing to-do list, and only one of them is actually “writing.” All urgent and high priority, most with deadlines. Yet the writing must go on. So Alison’s 70 Days of Sweat is great timing.
My first project: to finish The Fire Within novella.
My second project: Blood Crown, book 2 in the My Beloved series.
I really debated about this second project. I have so many things I want/need to do yet this year! But I know exactly what I need to do with the book, the plot, the world, the characters; while my other projects are mostly vague. Or hard. For instance, I need to revise RHP and somehow add at least 30K. That’s some serious work. I didn’t think I could get 4-6 pages a day on that kind of project. The Maya Fantasy is also vague. I don’t have the plot, the characters, the world. Just a concept. Not enough to get my pages.
So let the sweating begin.

You too? Yay! Sven is great! I posted one of those keep track of your progress things (the progress bar is a link to the site if you want to get one), but I like Sven (no thanks on the sweat, though, that’s why God created A/C.

I think I might get in on this for my next project. Doesn’t sound like a bad idea. And I agree with Ann - that man needs A/C.

I am doing it too. IN fact, I was in the first 25 to sign up. I am very excited. Well, it’s almost time to start. I am waiting on some tea to brew. I need my tea! Good luck, Joely. Anna is doing it too. I hope we all succeed.
Fingers and toes crossed!
