You Know You’re Too Busy When…

1. You can’t remember the last time you went to the bathroom.   

2. The coffee pot has nearly burned dry but you drink the sludge anyway because you don’t have time to make a new pot.

3. One of the kids yells “Mom!” and you can’t remember picking them up from school. 

4. Maybe you never took them?

5. Dinner?  What’s dinner?

6. You know all the pizza delivery numbers by heart.

7. You order by saying, “Yeah, it’s me.  Give me the usual.”

8. Your to-do list is a novel to rival Moby Dick.

9. Reading Moby Dick sounds more attractive than tackling said to-do list.

10. Cleaning the toilet sounds more attractive, too.

11. You begin to tell yourself it’s okay to be so far behind.  Eventually, you’ll actually be ahead.  Right?  RIGHT?

12. Your Excedrin bottle is empty.  Didn’t you just buy it?

13. You’re on your last bag of coffee.  Didn’t the UPS guy just drop the order off the other day?  PANIC.

Sven Says Sweat Day 11

I made it Dark and Early yesterday, but found final edits waiting on SMF and did them instead.  Then I finalized a guest blog and a different article (1100+ words that I had to cut down below 700!), all on my to-do list and urgent, but I never made it to opening a file for new words.  This morning, dark and early.  I hope to get more words tonight.
