Fess Up Monday
I made my report to Sven yesterday at Alison’s. Considering the release last week, the mad rush to get everything done in time, I truly am happy with whatever words I get. However, I really want to bump that measely 400-600 words a day up to double that!
This week, my priorities are:
- Gothic short story by July 31st.
- steady progress on The Fire Within.
- zombie romance (I’m a sucker)
I have the day off today, and although the monsters are home, I’m hoping to get some significant writing done. I’ll check in at the end of the day!
Count so far today: 3461 words in Spires

I didn’t get a lot of writing done last week either. But now I’m ready to dive back in and get cracking. We can do it!

Yay! Zombie romance!
Best luck on the word count! Hope everything goes well.

Zombie romance, cool!!
I’m on project two for Sven … but my momentum is starting to fizzle out because of all the energy and research I put into Journey.

I did pretty well, considering. I’m going to try to do better this week (I finished HP).

I’ve discovered that when I break 2k on a given day, I end up with a headache. I wrote 2400 words today. Afternoon off from writing? Ohh, I think so. Today is my anniversary, and I cannot have a headache on my anniversary. The problem is that because it is the special day, I skipped my lunch break so I can leave the EDJ early (we’re going out to dinner, you see). While I did -eat- at my desk, I also was at my desk. Which meant I’ve been writing since nine o’clock this morning. I’m getting used to it and I love to push myself but right now 2k seems to be the upper limit.
And good luck with that zombie romance. I cannot figure how it could work at all, so you’re a better woman than I to even tackle it.

I’m falling behind! I would have said Falling, but I’ve not read it yet and cannot blame it for my being behind.

Yes we can, Christine! *Sven cracks whip*
Bri, Amy, and Jess: I’m not sure how a zombie romance will actually unfold, but I’ve had fun thinking about it. I’m thinking I might actually go with the “virus” mythology instead of the “walking dead” idea. That’s a little more tolerable.
Hang in there, Ann and May! Even if you’re FALLING, it’s much shorter than HP, a nice quick read. It was Christine’s release that sucked up most of my time Sat.!!

Hey girl!
I just wanted to jump in here and say Congrats on your release, and support you with Sven! Sven seems to be getting some serious butt these days!
