Good for you….some great affirmations.

That’s great the affirmations are helping. Anything to nuture and encourage the muse is good!
Happy TT!

Great affirmations. I have “I know what to do. I am guided and cared for every step along the way” in front of me all the time. As the ultimate middle child that’s exactly what I need to hear. How is every thing going? Well, I hope!
Happy TT, Joely.

How about “art is fun”? Happy TT.

I took a 10 week course on the Artist’s Way about 5 years ago and it was LIFE CHANGING. I did not go into the class expecting much at all. Are you doing the daily journaling? That was a huge part of it that I don’t think I would have had I not been taking the class.

No. 12 can unlock a new universe. This is a wonderful list.

You writers always amaze me. I did not get that talent!

Y’know, that third one gives you a valid excuse to be a pantser… *grin*
SO glad the muse is back for you. Mine’s back, too.
Were they in Bermuda together, do you think?

I don’t know if I am into affirmations. I just try to remember to keep a sense of humor about things and remember the Rejoice Always thing.

That was such a nice reminder to nurture the creative part in all of us — whether you’re a writer or painter or scrapbooker or chef! Those affirmations are so true — and I’m glad you’re past the winter blahs and springing into a new season! Great TT (oh, and Joely, that episode with Kirk and the lizard? It’s called Arena. I’m such a geek I didn’t even have to look that up! Oh brother!!)

Glad to hear that you’re back to writing and the affirmations are helping.
I do a daily motto each morning to set where my mind will be for the day. The one I like the best if the Joan of Arc quote “I am not afraid. I was born to do this.” It puts so much into perspective for me.
Thanks for sharing these, I keep hearing wonderful things about the Artist’s Way and it was great to get this peek into it.
Hugs,
~X

‘Those who try to keep me down, my haters, they are my motivators’
I even have a little sign that reads that on my desk.
Happy TT!

Julia Cameron is very powerful mentor.
When I was working my way through The Artists Way, there were quite a few online groups that were working together as a team.
I don’t know if there are still any out there (probably) -
you might want to give that a try.
Happy Journey!

Like you, I return frequently to all of Julia Cameron’s books for inspiration and renewal. These are lovely (and useful) affirmations. I appreciate these reminders today.
Hugs and blessings,

Daily affirmations. Just do it? Sven says Sweat? No?
March 20th, 2008 at 10:28 am
Sounds like a wonderful idea. Good for you, Joely!

Thanks for stopping by, everyone! Just a note to the non-writers: positive affirmations and creativity are beneficial for anyone. I think we all have an Artist Child!

Hi Joely! I came by from Sven to say congrats on the word count.
Awesome job!
