Good job, Joely! I hear ya about the scale not telling the whole tale issue — i’ve *gained* (gasp!) six pounds since Xmas, but found 2 dresses at Target last weekend that are a form-fitting size i never thought i’d see again and not only could i get them on, they actually look good! So, I’m telling myself the weight gain is due to increased muscle mass and reminding myself to eye my scale with some suspicion and gauge my progress by the sizes i fit into. So there!

I love the look of that dress! Do you have a Chicos in your area? I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the things I’ve got there. (They are one of those stores that do 0-1-etc. but a lot of the 5′s would be comparable to 1x.) Good luck shopping

My good news for Monday is I’ve done some writing. In the last twelve hours (and I was sleeping for some of it, though not nearly enough, and working) I’ve written over 2k words. Its been a long time since I’ve had this good a surge. Seems relaxing this weekend was the right decision to make.

Good luck with 3Aliens Joely. I hope youplot and write fast enough to get it submitted on time. I know its going to be great.

My monsters were up at 6 too…ugh! I only beat them up by 30 minutes and a cup of coffee, LOL, completely dragging today. Good luck with your plotting! I know you can do it

As a fairly new fan, I read the Shanhasson stories, I was excited to see a mesoamerican based book. I read the “Well of the Sky” and really appreciated the sensitive treatment of the Maya. Needless to say, I’m excited at the prospect of a full length novel.
