These Books Need a Home

Updated:  the books promised or already sent have been removed from the list.  I also added a few new ones!

I’m cleaning out my bookshelves, and as most bibliophiles, I’ve realized I have way more books than I will ever read (or read again).  I thought who better to offer these books to than my friends and blog readers!

These books are all either new or gently used.  Media mail postage is pretty cheap in the US, so my postage budget will go pretty far.  If my international friends see some they’d like, I ask that you bundle a few together and I’ll get prices to ship them.  If it’s extremely expensive, I may have to hold off a while before sending them.

I’ll keep adding books to this post and cross off the ones that are taken.  You can drop me an e-mail (joelysueburkhart AT gmail DOT com) or comment here if any book strikes your fancy.

In no particular order:

Beyond the Edge, Susan Kearney, Extreme Blaze

The Lost City of Z, David Grann, hardcover, Double Day

  2. My hubby loves SciFi so, when everyone’s had their pick, if you have any SF left, I’m happy to take them. 🙂

  3. I’ll be happy to relieve you of your Kim Harrison and Patricia Briggs books, if no one else jumps on them. I won’t even cost you postage!

  4. Tammy, will he read SciFi romance? Allred’s and Grant’s books were pretty good but they do have pretty strong romance themes. Weber’s book was fantastic and NOT romance — but it’s a pretty standard series I think — does he already have it? Of course you can have Lynn’s StarDoc books if you don’t already have them. I ended up with duplicates — but nobody’s prying the complete series out of my little hands! 🙂

Sis, You’ve got the Kim Harrison books!

  5. If no one claims those Hqn Presents on your list I’ll gladly take them. Especially the Caitlin Crews one as it’s on my wishlist. But email me about the shipping please as I’m willing to pay it!

    Hugs,
    Pearl

  6. You got them, Pearl! And don’t worry — I can cram a bunch of those smaller Presents into a shipping envelope! Shipping to the Netherlands last time was only about $10 so that’s definitely in my budget!

  7. retired now so book budget down the drain. if you have any books left, would love to have some. i read all genres and then circulate them to senior center and hospital reading carts. everybody benefits. just love to read.

  8. Phyllis, I’d love to send you a big box of books. Please drop me an e-mail with your snail mail address, and whatever’s left, I’ll cram as much into a priority box as possible.

  9. We have the StarDoc books and, no, Bill doesn’t like SF-Romance. He doesn’t mind a little lovin’ in the books, just would rather the focus be elsewhere.

BTW, I’m happy to reimburse for postage.

  10. If you’re willing, I’d appreciate the Unclean Spirits by M.L.N. Hanover. Thanks, Joely!

  11. Joely, I’ll take any/all of the StarDoc books and am willing to reimburse postage. Thanks.

  12. did anyone snatch Last of the Ravens or Captive of the Beast yet? i love the nocturne series! i’ll be happy to reimburse you the postage if you let me know what it is….

thank you so much for your generosity!
