Tomorrow’s the day!
If you want a copy early, then this is the place. I want to know about Regency tropes that you absolutely love.
The kooky spinister trying to save her brother from ruin.
The young debutante “ruined” by some ridiculous scandal years ago that was a misunderstanding.
The “beast” or “black duke” who might have murdered his wife…. (He usually has a name like the Devil of Blackmore.)
I think I just summarized several Amanda Quick plots! I’m pretty sure I have a whole bookshelf of her delightful Regencies somewhere. Or maybe you like the traditional Regencies. Our hometown library had a huge shelf of them and I’m pretty sure I read them all.
Tell me about your favorite Regency trope or book — or simply throw your name in the hat — in comments. At 5 PM CST *** today *** I’ll pick a winner so you can have the book to read before its official release tomorrow.
I don’t read a whole lot of Regency/historical books but the ones I have read usually have a highwayman in it. Not sure if this is a trope or not. Also enjoy the ones where the Heroine is the wallflower type.
I love Regencies, especially when they include pirates or highwaymen. I like scholarly heroines too. It gives the hero a run for his money on two fronts. 🙂
I love bluestocking heroines! Especially when the prim and proper misses put the rakes in their place. 😀 Happy early release! 😉
I’m a huge fan of the black dukes. There’s always the tension, well, did he kill her? Haha. And the discovery of his true persona is always worth the journey.
Oh, my favorite is the rake with the horrible reputation who is only so disreputable because he’s got some weird secret that is worse than a bad reputation. Usually, there’s a scar somewhere, too!
I’m partial to the “ruined” man who is “saved” by the spunky bluestocking heroine. 😉
Don’t enter me.
I agree with Maria, pirates or highwaymen. Hmm…maybe that’s why I love your assassins 😆
I love the Regency books. My favorite books are by Julia Quinn 😉
I let it run a bit longer because the site was down briefly today.
Isabelle, you’re the winner!
Thank you to everyone who entered!
